The Embellish Handbell Family is excited to announce we will be hosting Ringing Out on Saturday, March 28, 2026!

Ringing Out is a community handbell Mass Ring, and this year it will be under the direction of Embellish’s Music Director, Brenda E. Austin.

Brenda is a handbell composer, arranger, and conductor, and also a music editor for Hope Publishing. She is in high demand as a clinician, both nationally and internationally, and has over 115 publications of her own. She brings a vibrant energy to the podium, and a passion for “Changing the world with handbells!” – her signature phrase. 

The day will be full of fun, great music, and the opportunity to connect with others in the handbell community. We will close the event with a concert, featuring several pieces rung by the mass choir, as well as an individually-prepared piece from each group (if desired), and a short performance by Embellish.

Since space is limited, registration is on a first come, first served basis. Please find the event details below:

• Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026
• Time: 8:00am – 2:30pm, with a Mass Ring concert at 3:00pm
• Location: Calvin Church, 700 Ethel Avenue SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506
• Cost: $150 for a group of up to 12 people; OR individual ringers may register for $20 each. Please note that we welcome groups of all sizes, so we encourage you to attend with your ringers who are available.
• Optional purchases: Boxed lunches will be available for $16 each, and Ringing Out t-shirts for $15 each. You will be given more details about the lunch choices, and t-shirt sizes on the registration form, and will need total numbers from your group when you complete it.
• Musical repertoire: Each group or individual attendee will be responsible for purchasing and learning their own music. The list of pieces that Brenda has chosen is as follows:
