Ringlets is an Embellish outreach program designed to provide children with an educational music experience and a basic introduction to the art of handbell ringing. Through the combination of hands-on exercises, creative activities and a fun setting, Embellish hopes that Ringlets will help instill a love and appreciation of music and an interest in handbell ringing for young people, and the potential future handbell ringers of the community.

1700 Fulton SE in Grand RapidsJoin us for a musical celebration as two local Grand Rapids community handbell ensembles (Embellish and Campana) showcase a variety of selections. This is a great introduction to handbells if you have not heard them performed professionally before!
Campana will play an arrangement of “I’m a Believer” written by Neil Diamond and recorded by groups such as The Monkees and Smashmouth; and two original works: “Mountaintop” from Colorado Suite by Kevin McChesney; and “In Times and Places” by Sandra Eithun.
Embellish will present an arrangement of “Fly Me to the Moon” by Ron Mallory; George Harrison’s “Here Comes the Sun” arranged by Julie Turner; and “Farandole” by George Bizet, arranged by William Griffin. They will also play an original work: “Reflections” by Karen Buckwalter.

Join Bob Bernhardt, your Grand Rapids Symphony, vocalist Leon Williams, the GR Symphony Chorus and Youth Chorus, plus the Embellish Handbell Choir for the annual GR Pops holiday tradition that is sure to get the entire family in the Holiday spirit!
